What is the 144-Hour Visa-Free Policy for International Tour Groups Entering Hainan Province via Hong Kong and Macao SARs？
與中國建交國家的公民持普通護照到香港、澳門后，經在香港、澳門合法注冊的旅行社組團（2人及以上）入境海南旅游，可免辦簽證停留不超過144小時（符合與中國簽署互免簽證協定或中國政府其他免簽政策的，可從其規定）。入出境口岸為國家設于海南省的所有對外開放口岸，須整團入境、出境，活動范圍為海南省行政區域，停留時間自入境次日零時起算。
Any individual holding an ordinary passport from a country having diplomatic relations with China can now visit and stay for up to 144 hours without a visa in Hainan Province for tourism purposes, provided that he/she will travel to Hainan from Hong Kong or Macao SAR in a tourist group organized by a travel agency that is legally registered in any of the two SARs and consists of at least two persons. For any foreign national covered by a mutual visa exemption agreement or any other visa exemption policy of China, the relevant provisions shall prevail. The eligible foreign nationals may enter and exit in groups through any of the exit-entry ports set up by the State in Hainan Province, and shall stay within the administrative region of Hainan. The duration of stay for each foreign national is calculated from 0:00 on the day following the day of entry.
海南不僅有144小時過境免簽政策，還有擴大59國人員免簽入境海南事由政策。今年2月，在入境海南旅游基礎上，允許59國人員因商貿、訪問、探親、醫療、會展、體育競技等事由（工作、學習事由除外），免簽入境海南停留不超過30天。
Hainan boasts not only a 144-hour visa-free policy, but also a 59-country visa-free entry policy. In Feb. 2024, the existing visa-free entry policy was expanded to allow travelers from the 59 eligible countries to enter Hainan for business, friend and family visits, medical treatment, exhibitions, sports competitions, and more (excluding travel for work or study) for up to 30 days.
同時自2024年5月15日起，乘坐郵輪來華并經由境內旅行社組織接待的外國旅游團
（2人及以上），可從海南?？诤腿齺喌热珖?3個城市的郵輪口岸免辦簽證整團入境，停留不超過15天。
Additionally, starting May 15, 2024 international tour groups of 2 travelers or more visiting Hainan on cruises booked with domestic travel agencies can enter China visa free via cruise ports in 13 cities across China, including Haikou and Sanya in Hainan, and stay for up to 15 days.
